The Young Adult Ministry at St. Vincent de Paul seeks to:

Create a space for young adults in their 20s and 30s from all walks of life to find community at St. Vincent de Paul Church (SVDP)

Intentionally welcome new young adults into the group, always aware that we must share what we receive in Christ.

Offer continual formation in the following four areas: human, spiritual, intellectual, and pastoral.

SVdP YA Tuesday Nights
Our YA nights have a new “hybrid” format with the option to attend in-person or online via the video platform Zoom. Please download the app and make an account so you can join! It’s free!

YA Night Resources
We are starting a channel on our Slack to post the various resources from our YA nights and to also continue any conversations/ask questions about the talks. First, we have two google docs that will grow throughout the semester which can be found here or on Slack. One is a books/resources page and the other is a definitions sheet. Both are organized by week/talk. We’re still working on the definitions sheet and hope to have the different false philosophies added in the next
couple of weeks!We’ve also been recording the Zoom YA nights and are working on uploading all of them to YouTube.

Run Club
Since we are virtually running together until further notice due to the increase in Covid cases, Charlotte Gutierrez, our Run Club coordinator, has come up with an awesome idea that will build our community while also allowing us to socially distance safely.
Each Wednesday, Charlotte will post a challenge that will consist of taking a picture of something that will follow a certain theme, (depending on what the challenge is for that week), and you will send the picture to her by Sunday of that week. You can run, walk, crawl, ect.
Charlotte will then create a collage of all pictures submitted and post it on the social thread and our Facebook page! As always, stay safe, remember to hydrate, and happy running! -
